Hi, I'm Wendy and I founded The Fresh Green Bag, an online reusable shopping bag business in 2003. I'm a designer with many years of experience, including designing for Davenport back in the day, and then at Bonds where I designed the volunteer uniform for the Sydney Olympic Games, a career highlight! I started my business by walking into my local green grocer and having a conversation with the owner Michael, he was a very forward thinking man and could see the plastic bag problem growing, he wanted a solution! My background in textiles set me on a path to help him, and an initial order for 100 calico bags later, my business was born!
